How large are the homesites at Stonelake Ranch?
Land for sale at Stonelake Ranch varies in size but lots average 3.5 acres. Acreage per homesite ranges from 1.5 acres to over 8 acres.

How many homesites does the community offer?
Stonelake Ranch is situated on 685 acres and offers only 160 homesites. There are currently less than 35 remaining home sites.

Is there a minimum square footage required for homes at Stonelake Ranch?
Yes. Homes built on interior lots must be a minimum of 3,000 square feet of air-conditioned living space, and waterfront homes must be at least 3,500 square feet.

How long do I have to begin construction on my acreage (lot)?
After purchasing acreage at Stonelake Ranch, lot owners have five (5) full years after closing to break ground on their homes.

Am I required to use one of the preferred builders at Stonelake Ranch?
Stonelake Ranch offers 9 of the Tampa Bay area's finest builders as the community's Approved Builders. Select from Alvarez Homes, Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Bartlett Homes, Bayfair Homes, Emerald Homes, Homes by John C. Fowke, John Cannon Homes, Olivera Construction and Windstar Homes.

How large is Lake Thonotosassa?
At 880 acres, Lake Thonotosassa is the largest lake in Hillsborough County. The lake offers endless recreational opportunities including waterskiing, jet skiing, and fishing.

Will private docks be allowed on waterfront acreage (lots)?
Yes. Land for sale at Stonelake Ranch includes select homesites that offer private dock access.

Will residents on interior home sites be able to access the lake?
Yes. A community boat ramp ensures that all residents will enjoy the lake.

Are horses allowed at Stonelake Ranch?
Yes. Residents living on interior lots may have one (1) horse for every acre of their home site. A maximum of five (5) horses is allowed, and residents with horses must build private stables. Stonelake Ranch features miles of 40-foot-wide equestrian trails and approximately 100 acres of open meadow for riding.

Is there a community clubhouse?
Yes. A 3,000 square foot lakeside lodge is located adjacent to the community boat ramp at the north end of the property. Residents enjoy gathering in the large community room for parties and private events, or simply relaxing on the wraparound porches after a day of boating. A fully-equipped fitness room allows for a complete workout without ever leaving the community.

Does Stonelake Ranch have a CDD?
Yes. The Stonelake Ranch Community Development District was established to offer a higher standard of amenities, infrastructure, and landscaping and to assure that the high-quality standards would continue long after the developer completes the community.

Is Stonelake Ranch a private community?
Yes. Stonelake Ranch is a private community with private roads. The main entrance features custom privacy gates and a guard house that is attended 24 hours a day. In addition, a security person monitors all activity as he drives throughout the community from dusk until dawn 7 days a week.

Is the community connected to public water and sewer?
No. Residents will need to install a well and septic tank while enjoying a range of benefits that come from living outside of the Urban Service Area. Fewer home sites on large tracts of land result in lower densities, less traffic and the preservation of scenic landscapes and indigenous wildlife.
